Surrounded by great roads & views
Directions from Newcastle. Take the Bryansford Rd out of town.at the end turn left, continue through Bryansford village-the Slievnaman road is the second road on the left after leaving Bryansford-just over 2 miles. The Rock is about 200 metres on the right

Stopped here recently on our way back from Rosslare
Victoria Lock, Newry canal
A working lock, allowing vessels to pass from Carlingford Lough up to Newry
Great views down the lough
Directions from Newry. Take the Fathom Line from The Quays shopping centre & follow the canal out of town. Victoria Lock is about 4 miles along the road.
A great area to explore

One memory of my first visit to a great place was the ride in a chair of a Scott Squirrel (thumbs) (also got a ride in a 1925 Royal Enfield combo )

Ballynoe Stone Circle looking to the Mournes.
There is a parking layby that is off the road - site approached by walkway. No amenities, so bring everything with you, but a phenomenal place to stop / picnic
