Three more in County Down
Windy Gap-Slievenaboley Road. From Dromara take the Rathfriland Road. Continue through Finnis and at the second crossroads turn left unto the Slievenaboley Road. Continue along this road for about 1 mile or so. The site is on the right on the crest of a hill.
Great views of the Mournes from here-but no picnic tables and is also quite exposed.

Lighthouse Road. A short distance from Windy Gap. Turn right out of Windy Gap and continue along the Slievenaboley Rd. At the first crossroads turn right unto the Lighthouse Rd. The site is on the right after about a mile.
Again, great views of the Mournes, and the site has picnic tables

Yellow Water Rostrevor. From Rostrevor travel inland along the main street, after the church take the Newtown Rd (on right sign for Spelga Dam) Continue along this road and you will pass over a small bridge (roughly after about 2 miles). The site is on the right among mature evergreen trees.
A sheltered site with a nice stream running alongside it.

Murlough Bay, Murlough Road off the Torr Rd Ballycastle. Great views over to Scotland, Rathlin Island. Single road that can be busy in summer.

Another one stopped at during the week
Corbet Lough, County Down.
From Banbridge take the Castlewellan Road (a popular motorbike road) After about 4.5 miles Corbet Lough will be on your left.
Well served with picnic tables, however my favourite spot is on the right as you turn in

The giants causeway is amazing but don't park at the main car park as it's incredibly expensive there's a little railway station steam train rides available just a five minute walk from there it's free to go down but they run a bus up and down think it's a pound
