Another location visited by Heff & myself last month
Kilclief, located at the mouth of Strangford Lough and roughly half way along the coastal road between Strangford & Ballyhornan.
A nice wee beach & small carpark with picnic tables & on a great route that takes you from Strangford along the coast to Newcastle
Northern Ireland..Places to stop, take in the views.

Another one Heff and his new steed & myself stopped at today - Leitrim Lodge, Mourne Mountains - further along the Newtown Rd from the Yellow Water site on page 2.
Well served with tables & seats - great views & nicely sheltered amongst mature trees
Has also been used as a setting for Game of Thrones

Great to get out with Flintlock on my first proper ride out since I brought it home.
A wee bit on the cold side but at least it stayed dry (thumbs)
Loving the new Panzer :woohoo:

Found this coffee shop this morning, just off Head Road
Annalong. Sorry no view today.
The carpark is a bit challenging.

Another nice "tucked away" spot visited yesterday.
Barnes Gap County Tyrone. Located overlooking the Glenelly Valley in the middle of the Sperrins. Well served with picnic tables & sheltered by mature trees

Surrounded on all sides by great ABR type roads (single track, poor surface, pot holes & sheep)
Directions from Plumbridge Co Tyrone.
Take the Culvacullion Rd out of the village (heading for Gortin). After about half a mile turn left into the Landahussy Rd. Continue for about 4.5 miles, site is on the left, opposite Mullaghbaner Rd (Barnes Gap)
