Another stop this morning & a place well known by bikers in N.Ireland. Spelga Reservoir, Mourne Mountains, Co Down. Located beside the B27, mid way between Hilltown & Kilkeel.

Was particulary stunning this sunny Autumn morning

Great views towards the Mournes & an area less well known

Directions from Hilltown. Take the road for Newry (the Main Street) Yellow road is on the left just before the national speed limit sign. Follow the Yellow Road into the hills-site on the right after a couple of miles

Another location visited last Sunday

Carnstroan Lane, Co Antrim. Located at the foot of Slemish Mountain. Great views towards North Antrim

A great network of roads between here and over & through the Glens of Antrim towards Ballycastle.

Directions from Ballyclare. Take the B94 north out of the town. Follow to the end & turn right unto the A36. Take the 3rd road on the left (Glenhead Rd) follow past quarry to Xroads. Turn left unto the Shillanavogy Rd. Take 2nd road on the left (after about 5 miles) the Carnstroan Rd, follow for approx 1 mile & turn left into Carnstroan Lane. Follow to end
