Thanks lads,

So just to wrap up, we spent our last night in a campsite just outside Arromanches.

Day 9 saw us stopping at the Commonwealth Cemetery at Bayeaux

Then a lunch stop at the nice coastal village of Barfleur for some Moules and frites

before catching the ferry back to Dublin

So a fitting end to a great trip. As someone in the party said re advise on what roads to take in the Pyrennes, the answer would be any road-a lovely part of the world and a privilige to experience it on a motorcycle with great company.

Until next time

Excellent report guys - drop by next time! - meanwhile your hints about France are good for me as I'll be doing a 'tour' up to Manchester next April - not the most obvious destination but ... (thumbs)

Note to self - allow more time for researching the Spanish Civil War sites tour ready for next year
