try the scrap yards or roads department for a bit of armco barrier you can get them on ebay for £20 a length but pickup only possibly stronger than them folding ramps.

I just happened to find a couple of lenghts of metal channel at work today that I'm planning on taking home for a ramp.180mm x 2m and plenty strong enough! :)

Use a ladder and a bit of ply wood to get the 1150GS into the van. Secure the ladder from slipping with bungee cords No need to buy anything for just the one use.

Just be aware if you are using the engine to drive it up a ramp when the front wheel gets in the van the rear wheel will try to spit the ramp out from under the bike, I use a folding alloy ramp and screw the 3 prongs to the van floor (don't ask me how I know this!!!)

Should be no problems though if you are just pushing it up the ramp

Thats why the ramp I was going to send has a little strap to tie it to the back of the van.... perfic.

Should be no problems though if you are just pushing it up the ramp
