Lord Stones is back

Post by johnnyboxer »

http://lordstones.com/

This popular outdoor venue is back, opening in Spring 2014 and has now expanded, with a cafe, shop and even a licensed bistro/grill restaurant at night now

It also now offers proper camping, with all facilities....... plus camping pods too

Looks an excellent spot to freqent now and even camp for a night or 2

Great place for walkers/climbers/cyclists and of course motorcyclists

That's great news JB. Really liked going up there and watching the para gliders.
I hope it's not going to be overrun by the family day trippers.

Cheers Dave.

Excellent news. It always sold good food & I'd be interested in spending a night up there - great views - I wonder how dark the sky gets?

I've been involved with the building works at lord stones and have seen it go from the old set up in to the new site, its a really nice place now and as JB said the camping facilities are superb as are the pods, also all food produce is sourced from local farmers etc..

Shower blocks and the new cafe is really nice with lots of oak fitments, (thumbs)

Also a nice patio area made of natural stone with seating..

Well worth a ride out (thumbs) :)
