ow boy,,I got the gpx files thanks and can see exactly whats gone wrong..the files are huge..like one alone is 5.1mb as against normal file size of 75kb :woohoo: ..
also one has 60,943 waypoints :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: ...the other has just 19 waypoints in a dot to dot fashion..in straight lines dosent even follow roads..

no sat nav on earth will handle that many..most except 200 as a route or 20,000 as a track.

this was viewed on mapsource and basecamp using garmin citynavigator mapping..one reaso I dont use tyre or other web sites they use far to many waypoints...

leave it with me and I`ll copy and upload a garmin gpx later ;)

Hi Russ,
I only produced those files to try and show the overall route I intend to take.
I have the same route broken down into daily sized chunks but didn't want to bog the thread with two many files.
The biggest of those by far is 1.482KB but average 770KB
Would those be easier to post.

Cheers Tez
I feel lost, So I have Bought a KTM 990 ADV to go look for myself.
