All,

I will be leading one of the more 'spirited' adventure bike runs.

Just to let you know, I do not use the drop-off system on off-road runs. I use the traditional TRF system whereby everybody is responsible for ensuring that the person behind them does not get lost. Whenever you get to a junction or other decision point, you simply check that the person behind knows where you are going. If they are not yet in sight, you wait until they are. Between these points, you can overtake (but not the run leader), stop for a piss, crash, take photos or spray eachother in mud.

Look forward to leading you on Saturday. It will be an adventure, whatever the weather.

Regards,

Dave

I think i already have a rear for my ride. But i guess we won't know for sure until who actually turns up.

If the numbers are so low we can have one group but if no then two small groups will work just as well.

What time you getting there Si on Friday?

I will be there in my car around 8am setting up my tent and stuff. But then back on my bike for 10am.

Showing you the route will take 4 hours and i'd like to be back no later than 3:30pm if possible to be about when peeps turn up.

And unlike the midlands rally i will not be falling off this time!!!

Looks like the weather will hold out for us..but may rain Sunday PM.

Leaving home about 8am, 2-2 1/2 hr ride, So eta about 10:30am, hr or so to pitch tent etc, cup of tea, then will be out. No problem doing the route on my own if you have things todo. Route is pretty easy to follow, have it plotted on Memory map on my phone on 1:50000 and 1:250000 so no worries.
