I'm all set ready to go,
Can't believe how much kit is loaded on the trailer.
See you all there,
Ride safely !

I reckon the only thing I'm not packing is my swimming trunks!

A bit out of touch with this winter camping lark. Should pick up some good pointers over this weekend from the experts in residence - hopefully.

Safe journey everyone and see you all tomorrow.

Paul :)

No flies on you! Only thing I forgot was my bivvi bag. And the answer to packing light is
Not to have a massive doss bag (I use a 3 season all yr round) and wear some of ur spare clothes in bed if ur bringing any that is. Ive still got 85L of gear. A few big tops for hanging about in and talking crap in the eves!

The overnight gales have blown themselves out, the rain has stopped. Its got all the right ingredients for a great weekend.

Just need a full English and a couple of mugs of coffee and I'll think about heading on up to the site.

Ride safe gentlemen and I look forward to meeting you all.

Hi BigTim, We were planning on running down today after the wind died off but just to let you know me and my other half won't be able to make it  Because of the weather we had up here in South Yorkshire yesterday there's a bit of damage to my dads bungalow. The roof took a bit of a battering and the she'd is no longer a shed, it's more like a pile of fire wood. Hope everyone who does turn up make it there safety and enjoys it. Sorry about the late decline.

Gripper mate, fully understand, these things can't be helped. Hope you manage to get everything sorted.
