The best time to go if you can get there is when the RAF are trying top blow up the small island just off of the Cape.

If anybody wants a bit of a ride and then one of the best walks in scotland take a lok at Sandwood Bay.

Ride to Kinlochbervie and walk the 4 miles to the bay.

White sands and no traffic...wonderful.

The *ferry* is a small boat ..
There is a pontoon ferry *Smirk* . but has been ruled out because of insurance issues with the owner, Austin was looking at it for Us .

There is No other way to get to Cape Wrath by motorbike , I am afraid .

But there are plenty of other out of the way places .. *Drumbeg* springs to mind , what a road that is !

I only state the facts , mike. .. LoL

I am sure i will state the fact thats its raining , just as easily ...lol

The weather is looking good for the ride up to the rally for most, so important to pick the most beautiful scenic route , think of it as the rideout of all ride outs . . Dont rush , do stop and get pictures etc .

Last year my 4 hour return home journey , took. 8 hours .. Taking in some of best biking roads in scotland.

Bring it on !
