Follow that road until the A862 junction then turn left going up through Beauly and Muir of Ord. At the A835 junction turn left and it's full chat to Ullapool. Taking this road will give you both scenery and plenty twisty bits as well. :)
That's the route I'm taking after turning left at Glasgow and up past Lomond, Glencoe and Fort Bill.

Hi Davy,

Good to hear from you.

I'm heading to Dumfries on the Friday staying overnight there, then heading to Ullapool on the Saturday. Head to Cumbria on Monday then home on the Tuesday.

See you there if you going?

Fort William, when u get to Glasgow don't tale the 82 but head for Aberfoyle, over the Dukes Pass and on to Callander. Follow the road to Crainlarch and then pick up the 82 North. Andy

Just back from doing Glenshee in both directions and home via the Lecht. If Carlsberg did Fridays.....!!!! B) The A82 may have the scenery but it hasn't got the grin factor(not if you want to keep your license anyway!) :)
