The 6 of us trail riders met the rest of the group at Snab point for our 13:30 departure time. First was a safety talk from Sheila, our guide and landlady of the Ship Inn on Piel.

Once again, thanks to all for making the journey and making it a great meet. Respect to all for getting the bikes over to Piel. A lot of riders were on road tyres, with overloaded bikes, some with no off road experience. No fallers on the way over, and I only think 1 drop on the way back.

The island is a fantastic location and its an honour to be able to ride over. Please note, this route is not a legal byway and it is illegal for anyone attempting the crossing without prior permission from the King of Piel.

I have some vids from the return crossing which Ill try and post in a day or two. Hope everyone made it home safely.

Making new friends and smashing through the sand
Was excellent wkd long drag back on the motorways should you see wire on your rear tyre !!!!
