Re: Piel Trail Ride
Will probably be a case of all just booking themselves into the campsite Friday night. But will give them a call when I get back in 2 weeks and post up here.Stevied wrote:Hi. Can you put me down for the campsite.
Will stick to the roads to Barrow though.
Re: Piel Trail Ride
And can definitely recommend the hardnot and wynrose pass en route to barrow. They start near the campsite.Stevied wrote:Hi. Can you put me down for the campsite.

Re: Piel Trail Ride
I might do this as well, still not sure whether or not I'm coming on the TDM or the XR. Although I know if I come on the TDM then I'll be jealously sulking when you guys set off for the trails.......Stevied wrote:Hi. Can you put me down for the campsite.

Re: Piel Trail Ride

Trail are great in the lakes. One or two tough ones though. Bring your armour.
Re: Piel Trail Ride
That's the one, still going strong. Everytime I think about swapping it, I have one more go and change my mind again. Choice of bike depends how I feel after getting back from the Dambusters run (and when)beddowsm wrote:

Re: Piel Trail Ride
There's a couple very steep rocky trails. Do able on big bikes, 950 etc, but I wouldn't fancy stalling on them and having to kick that tank jimmy. Easy solution, don't stall. Or fall.
