Kris, Bonniebird and Homer are coming down from the East coast North of London, might be good to possibly tie up with them for a bit of company on the ride down.

The cold we can deal with as long as it's not wet aswell, Going to see the campsite this weekend to see how wet it is after all the rain recently, hopefully as it's quite high up it will drain well and won't be soggy underfoot like a certain camp site last weekend.

As Spasm says, the secret is a good sleeping bag, I would also recommend a silk liner for your sleeping bag.

Hope to see you on Exmoor.

I bought a good second hand one. Rab Summit 700. Worth £300 for new. Very small when packed but super hot. Should give comfort when -17C. Extreme to -49C

I don't have enough space for more cheaper bags. It's a small 125cc Suzuki VanVan. No panniers. Can't afford to ride a bigger bike :(

See you this December.

If you want I have a pair of oxford panniers you can have for a cuppa. They just go over the saddle and don't look to bad.

I fought of them just didn't want to spend so much money.
