ŶŶHi All,

Have ridden a route today in good weather which was 120 miles, with 40 miles off road. The ride time was 5 hours. We were out all day including stops. This was in a group of four competent riders; KTM 690, KTM 400, KTM 450, Hussabang.

We did all of the usual trails, 3 Shires, Tenter Hill, Royce. Nearly did Hollinsclough B, but to much water damage at the moment.

I would recommend (for November) full off road rubber, and off road experience for this ride.

Probably going to be doing a similar route Tetley.

Did you go up Hollinsclough B or down it? Attempted it once uphill but never again (well, never say never). No chance on a big bike without a few people pushing and shunting the bikes up. Will be going down it on my route.

Hi Mike,
Rode up it about 6 weeks ago, hard but rode all the way. Yesterday was a different matter. It was obvious from the large gully at the point where A and B start that the track would be bad. We thought we would have a go just see how far we could get. The big rocks have been totally exposed by the water running down the track. One of our group Adrian, got to the top on his own on a Hussabang 550, he is a big bloke, and I think he carried it up the steep bit!
It will be fun coming down there in November on those 990s!
