I think the biggest problem you will have as a commuter is although its a 500cc its only got 28hp so a 110 mile commute will seem awfully long. They haven't got enough go to overtake and get past something safely to get on your way. They are good fun to ride and get a lot of attention but more suite...

What are they made of? They look more style than substance, but then again Givi are a good make. I like the look of these from Shad, but can't find out if they're imported or not. I saw these new Givi Trekker outback panniers on an F800 GS on the Givi stand at the NEC but the guy on the stand said they were pre production and didn't know the price.

I see they are now on Givi web site but still no price. Maybe they are free????
