Re: Klim Overshell Pants - Caution

I had a BMW Tourance jacket for about 15 years and did over 150K miles in it. It is still very usable (I use it for trail riding) but it got a bit scruffy. I wanted something of similar quality and was prepared to pay for it so went with Klim. The trousers are excellent but I’m not happy with the ja...

Re: The New Honda CB500X

195kgs for a 500 and you class that as light? I owned one for 12 month and was glad to get shut, awful handling(standard tyres were crap) limited choice of rubber due to wheel sizes, and in standard trim poor off road capabilities, not easy to work on the engine either. Do you get commission from H...

Re: Bikers stabbed at knutsford services

Not newsworthy apart from the fact they closed the motorway. Seems odd when you see so many dead donkeys these days. Eh? 4 people stabbed and it didn’t make national news - a lot of inconsequential shit on British media news. Ah so it’s a drop the dead donkey type reference. Don’t worry I’ll catch ...

Re: In search of a good night sleep

Old fashioned rubberised cotton blow up bed. Folds down small but is heavy. Had it for, must be 20 years and works well for both of us. I’ve been told they’re not made anymore due to environmental factors- not sure how true that is I will be gutted if I can’t get a new one when this one finally goe...

Re: Tyres...again and again..

I’ve run K60 scouts for around 100K miles now and really like them. Brilliant for motorway as they have a solid middle strip so last for ages. I have done dry trails such as Stella, Jafferau etc with no problems - I don’t think they’re suitable for any mud. My wife runs TKC70s. Again a great tyre, d...
