Modern bikes can be ridden by anyone asthey have idiot controls aka safety features....ive had gs750 with full yoshi conversion and a harris magnum cbx spaecial...both required respect and rewarded you will...that made me alive after a ride unlike some modern soffas....

Sorry to hear of the accident....doctors arent always right about re overy times....a good reliable ktm690 is hard to find so unless you need the money or bad memories I would store the bike till your ready again...

Honestly maps arent expensive....renew every euro trip and learn to trust a satnav....i carry a small waterproof euro map...fits in my waterproof backpack perfectly...tankbags suffer from condensation i found.

Or buy the waterproof version lol....
