B) I like his shows he's like marmite but at least it puts bikes on the telly so the mass uneducated can see us in a different light, I went every where on my old 650v Bonny [it was more reliable than my mates T140 :laugh: ] but again it was IF we get there as apposed to when, oh happy days a bike, ...

100.000 on a Diesel, "just run in" one of our lads has a Octavia MK1 300.000 on the clock, he keeps oil and filters changed and timing belt on time.
Have you noticed the amount that are used as Taxis, look after them and they will last.

Thanks for sharing that dod its a nice looking bike, and talk of Ariel I remember the old 350 Red hunter and having to buy a bag of cork clutch inserts from Dragonfly to repair a fried clutch, them where the day's.

B) I don't know much about SWM and I have always had a loathing for anything Chinese on bikes, but I must say I had a look on their site and I thought that the Silver Vase 440 was quite a good looking scrambler type bike with the looks of yesteryear it even has an optional kitstart kit [blimey] But ...
