Re: New Member Joined With A Question In Mind
Haha, April fools or not, I've done it! Fairly sure that's a long board in the pic which would be very unwieldy. Mine was a shorty that tbh took more skill to use than I possessed but that didn't stop me trying. I only lived 15 mins from the beach. Riding past, (on a twin shock DT 175) saw the surf ...

Re: The Royal Enfield Himalayan ,great value.
After reading various reviews and watching various YouTube channels (Nathan) I had convinced myself that the Himalayan was the bike I was looking for. Unlike many, I am really taken with it’s looks and couldn’t wait to get my hands on one, so I booked a test ride. Up close I liked it even more. On t...

Re: Lake District proposed TRO.
Has anyone ever seen the Mitchell and Webb SS sketch? The one where David Mitchell’s character notices they are wearing skulls as cap badges and asks “Are we the bad guys?” I came across this thread from last year and my first reaction was one of indignation that yet another byway was potentially lo...

Which Compressor?
Hi folks
I'm looking for a small (affordable?) lightweight portable 12V air compressor.
It doesn't have to be fast or powerful, just as long as it can re-inflate a flat tyre after a repair.
I'm obviously looking in the wrong places so can anyone recommend one?

Re: Salter fell to Ingleton falls
Ps, I have had a couple of compliments for the pics in this. Most of them were taken by the aforementioned Phil. I can’t take credit for his handiwork.

No insult intended but it could just be the shape of your head. "What are you trying to say?" https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTFbIu-usIeRCaQn9h5WnVR4nNuTmmZyesGnNxwPp8LZ_g4mnf4gQ "I can't find a helmet to fit since I used the Russian method" said Dave

Re: MIPS helmet
Try using your thumbs to compress the polystyrene lining underneath the MIPs where it causes the pressure line perhaps?Richard Simpson Mark II wrote: ↑Mon Nov 05, 2018 10:56 pm It may well be...the MIPS creates a pressure line on my forehead.
Not sure how effective the MIPs is but no harm in keeping it if you can eh?
