Re: Is there one bike that you've always wanted but never had?

I loved my DT175MX that I saved up for about 5 years to buy on my 17th birthday. I think it cost £690. Enjoyed a Maico 250, but even when I was young it was too much bike for me. Always wanted an IT200, rode a couple owned by friends and at the time it was just perfect. I'm sure it wouldn't be the s...

Re: Electric bikes and cars - get real

Right I am going to call it out, all this press coverage on electric motor cars and now motorcycles, what has the world been smoking!!!!! Electricity, produced mostly by burning fossil fuels and nuclear power, so what is cleaner petrol powered cars/motorbikes or fossil/nuclear powered cars/motorbik...

Re: 650,000 immigrants enter UK - a new record

I for one would happily accept the so called economic migrants in place for sending the lazy, sponging uk layabouts to the migrants countries in exchange...so thats most public sector workers and nearly all the so called unemployed.. Work is always available just they have found a easier source of m...

Re: klx 250

Thanks that's the type of report I was after. On the link there was mention of it not liking water, that's a bit hard to avoid down here in Wales. I was looking at a new one again yesterday seeing what I could remove to lighten it, the silencer would be a major weight reduction but would the efi ad...

Re: klx 250

A couple of opinions here: http://www.adventurebikerider.com/forum/23-bikes/456912-value-for-money-this-little-bike-is-hard-to-beat.html?limit=10&start=120#471950 I've had mine for 3 years now. Done about 5K miles. It's a bit bland, which works both ways - easy to ride and maintain and moderatel...

Re: Illegal 4x4 drivers 'trash' beauty spot on the Mendips

Probably stolen Range Rovers or X5s or the like.

We have a twat on a 2-stroke KTM enduro who rags it along the local public footpaths and bridleways around north Leeds. I've seen him several times and he seems to be out a couple of times a week. I wish the plods would catch him and crush his bike.

Re: CRF250 L thread

If not then by your own logic you need to "learn how to ride" and "trough it and carry on" :) we all have to, don't you? Indeed, yes! Overall is doesn't matter how good or bad any individual is as long as it's enjoyable. We all like to upgrade our toys - seems to be a bloke thin...

Re: CRF250 L thread

better spend money for good tyres and learn how to ride. Once you at the bike limits change the bike. Having said that I wish cfr250l had progressive front spring because you have to be careful while riding downhill into berms too fast...Flying over the bars is not nice. So were you going faster, h...
