Been loads of times. Never needed one as I avoid motorways and toll roads. If you plan well and research your route you shouldn't need one. If you get caught out and need to use the motorways etc. Buy it from a petrol station whilst there. Readily available. agree on this, went in 2013 to a tenere ...
