Re: what do you think about Kawasaki KLX 250 EFI

There's actually a lot that can be done to make the Kawasaki far better than it is...including a 300 top end, while the Honda is what it is straight out of the box, and would probably be quite difficult to improve on. In regards to engine I wonder if that very old one in klx is way worse then he ne...

Re: what do you think about Kawasaki KLX 250 EFI

Hi Robson. My fuel light would come on at about 80 miles (130km). I never ran it dry so I'm not sure how much was left. I think you can get Acerbis tanks these days in the USA. I do miss that little bike. It was the most confidence inspiring bike I've ever ridden. Hi Brenhden, did you have efi or c...

Re: what do you think about Kawasaki KLX 250 EFI

thanks for reassuring me because I have just placed an order :) Yeah, small tank bothers me a little but in my nc750x I don't have big tank either (14 liters) Wonder how is mpg on this bike, probably similar to honda? 3.5/100 km ? That would give me around 200km range. I can live with that having a ...

what do you think about Kawasaki KLX 250 EFI

Hi, still waiting for ma xt660z to be available and probably to replace my nc750x but I need something lightweight for off-road practice so after debating between honda crf 250l and kawaski klx 250 I have chosen klx (EFI version). Anybody have this bike here? what's your opinion on reliability, perf...

Re: is xt660z tenere still a good buy?

i don't know where the super tenere is built, but the quality is superb - its the best put-together bike I've ever owned. that said... - the super tenere, you have to remember, although it is now sold at competitive prices, was designed to be a £13k tourer - it was to be Yamaha's "premium"...

Re: is xt660z tenere still a good buy?

So where would you want your bike (parts) be build in ?? Most of the bikes/cars (sometimes only parts) are manufactured in far east i.e. China. maybe most but not all, super tenere is built whole in Japan as well as my honda nc750x, yamaha sr400 etc. That is what I would like my bike to be built in...

Re: is xt660z tenere still a good buy?

great! what was your reasoning if you don't mind me asking? I own a super ten, brilliant bike, love it to bits, but it's an adventure style touring bike. I want another bike, or similar style/seating position but for slow speed back road exploring. Granted I can do this on my S10 as well, but that'...

Re: is xt660z tenere still a good buy?

I'm sure a new Tenere is just around the corner... and I reckon there's a good chance the MT-07 parallel twin engine will be in it. Its just a matter of when and how long you're prepared to wait. well, the problem with new one can be the same as with new Triumph 800XC meaning they will add abs, tra...
