Re: 2022 KLR 650
Calm down Dave, it's 208 kg kerbweight which is only a couple more than the 660 tenerlady single, plenty of folks have managed to go places on those and in the US at least the old KLR had a big following. It's a cheap workhorse bike, probably run forever on not much fuel or maintenance . I owned the...

Re: How much better can you be?
Yep , well and truly hijacked, poor OP probably wondering why they bothered... That's a very fair point. I like the idea that I'm leaving a legacy behind for students of stupidity for many years to come. I've always wanted a place in the anals of time. Is that the same as arseholes of all time ?

Re: How much better can you be?
I't always so gratifying to know that you guys have a bulging library of shots ready at hand to remind me of my failures... Well when one is in the presence of such a master of stupidity it only feels right that one should record it for posterity/case studies/a warning to others... etc etc.

"How much better can you be?" Not much, really. I'm perfect already. I never crash, I never fall off, and I never get stuck. https://idn.blob.core.windows.net/wikialbums/pix/501961160208217046150824298657574186138193919/15724210411720219720188225222246210772467519913255599893858382/Photos...
Re: DR750
Or if you really want big "strokers" try the Lanz Bulldog.... some 10 litre models.. In cross-section drawings the Marshalls and Lanzs look for all the world like my old Li Lambretta, (apart from the rear diff ;) ). https://i.ytimg.com/vi/UYjGcTYTGro/maxresdefault.jpg Interesting little v...

Re: Photo chain link...
Me and my old FJ. multi coloured FJ.jpg Love the colours. Do you remember the cover of Which Bike magazine - about 2004 - where good old Chris Dabbs ragged an FJ1100 knee down ? Back then Yamaha marketed the FJ as a pure sports bike, up against the GPZ900R etc. It didn't take long for buyers to rea...
