One of the things I don't like about it is the engine is hidden, just like the NC750x, which to me means it looks less like a motorbike.

One way hires, you'll pay a premium but probably work out cheaper because you're off hiring the van when you're riding. That would be my suggestion too. Just need to have an address in Scotland that you can send them to eg a friend / dealers / relative / bike friendly hotel (Buccleuch Arms in Moffa...

She loves her car...has a home charger and it does her 20 mile each way mixed commuter run in town, city and rolling countryside at low cost, but as a medium or long-distance tool ...forget it. If I had an electric car, then for the long journeys I currently do, ie 6 hours plus of driving, I'd hire...

Had to wait FIVE minutes to get fuel in Ullapool this afternoon :evil:

Feckin motorhome blocking the entrance, once they'd paid no more queue :)

what i noticed was the further back towards england i got the more deperate it became ...the last three garages on the route home were shut .. situation is nuts I reckon that the greater the population density the greater the fuel "problem". Drove from Aberdeen, a couple of "no fuel ...
