Re: Adventure overland and camper event.

Thanks for the heads up there ! I've booked and received my ticket. Busy week of travel, with the 'Big Trailie' annual meet in Dent the weekend before also ! ( not shittin' on ABR, the Ragley event is impressive by any kind of festival standards, but it's just way too mahoosive for me these days. Al...

Re: Go Big and Ride Small

Took my MV up the A1M today to give it a good spin, Stopped off at Wheels in Peterborough, bought a pair of strides and saw this on the way out . It's a 125 ! Something for someone here maybe ? :o 8-) Although from what I've been hearing, may just be an ideal GS replacement for a weekend at Radley H...

That's one international crossing that barely gives you time for a cup of tea ! (And it's the second busiest sea channel in the world :o )

Re: A photo you took, today

Huge overland trip to Bedfordshire this early morning ! :D

Came across the airship hangers at Cardington air field while testing warranty dealer repairs

F**k me they're HUGE. (if you look carefully there is a car just right of the left hanger)

Re: NEW Honda XL750 Transalp LAUNCHED

Yes I may have been a bit harsh, It isn't badly made, just not a tidy as the Black V85 for example that I pulled up beside this morning (beautiful as that is , it's bit of a slug innit ) I got a little into the settings today and made my own User programme, full power/less engine braking/ less TC et...

Re: NEW Honda XL750 Transalp LAUNCHED

Thanks for the reviews, I’m really interested in this bike so keep them coming please. Excuse my ignorance but what is a dragster? [/quote The Tranny shouldn't really be compared with an MV Agusta Dragster, unless your comparing reliability. Then of course it's gonna win ...........HANDS DOWN. thumb...

Re: NEW Honda XL750 Transalp LAUNCHED

Well, 150 odd miles today. Handling brilliant on road at speed and wonderful balance at walking pace. Brakes good (smaller Nissans than an AT but bigger disks & it works well) Finish - pretty shite in some areas, cheaply covered ill fitting seat, exhaust system real tatty ugly affair. Swing arm ...

Re: NEW Honda XL750 Transalp LAUNCHED

Picked up today in the van as my MV needed dropping off to the same dealer for warranty work so the Alp came home in a van ( surprisingly with half inch to spare in the roof ! ). Did a few miles before backing it into the workshop for the night and I have to say it's a peach. There are one or two li...
