It's pure optimistic indulgence thinking it will happen but #### Covid and all the utter BS that bobs up and down in it's wake, we are forgin...

Garmin Experts.....

I'm cringing writing this because I'm proper shite with tech in general especially navigating Garmin devices but I need to bring myself up to a level of understanding with the two devices I have in prep for an upcoming trip in April. I need to seek the help of someone local to me (Gateshead/Newcastl...

Re: TCAT 2020 June set-off

Hi Mez A lot has happened in the world since your last post on this thread. I assume you had to put your trip on hold? I am assessing the option of getting mine (TAT) going this summer so looking at some of the thorny issues up front. Did you get as far as sorting an insurance plan? If so i’ll drop...

Re: Scotland 24th AUG + week

I'd highly recommend you visit Ardtoe, Archaracle, about 25 miles from Strontain, there's camping there along with static caravans, an idyllic location, it's ran by Hugh and Marie, you could try get their details on-line etc. We try visit here a few times per year......a best kept secret. Enjoy you...

Re: Scotland 26th AUG + week

Thank you kindly gents, was being lazy in first place by asking but I've done some research and map searching and found some great routes to follow but there is one thing. The booking system for the parks doesn't suit what we want to achieve really. Leaving a vehicle and trailer doesn't look possibl...

Just rang the national park and wild camping pass's are £3.50 a night within the boundaries which is bang on cheap and stops hassle. Maybe there's no need to wander any further ...

Scotland 24th AUG + week

Wasn't sure where to put this but anyway, simple question here: Two of us are heading up to Scotland West coast next week on a test run for one of the bikes we've built and would like to hit some light trail riding along the way plus wild camping spots. As neither of us like slab so we're trailering...

Re: UK's 3rd CRF500L 2021......

Bill's bike is now 95% finished and we're due to take it for a test run somewhere. Looks canny with a black frame I reckons.... The rear Safari tank needed new take off points nocking up and quick release fittings. Also the overlanding magic box up front to keep spaghetti in, you never know...... 20...
