Re: Go Big and Ride Small

You got some good weather for your trip up to Fort William Chris. I've been out on my little bike as well, I like it so much I think I might sell my bigger bike and get another smaller bike, maybe a scooter like yours. good luck on your trip to Vienna.

Re: The RE Himalayan ...

I've had both, the XT i rode for about 20k and the RE for about 10k, both touring here and abroad. The XT is the one I miss the most and if I had been a younger man I wouldn't have sold it.. If you loved the XT I don't think you would be satisfied with the Himalayan. The Himalayan will do what you w...

Re: advice wanted please

I don't think you're being petty, most of us would be right pissed off to be stranded 3 times for 5 hour periods within 6 months of buying new. What I did with my Himalayan that had its share of problems was to move it on cheap and go back to a Japanese bike. I know lots of folk never have any probl...

Re: Bike rental options in Norway

I think its a bit like Canada, my brother lives near Toronto with a couple of BMWs in the garage but do you think he could organise insurance for me from the UK to ride one on a tour there, no chance. I tried for a few years to organise something.Maybe try a post on Horizons Unlimited, I tried there...
