Re: Modding engines in teh future?

Modding engines in teh future?

Don't know if this has been posted already, but it looks like the government is planning on making it illegal to alter the performance of any vehicle though chipping, remapping, tampering with emissions equipment etc. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachm...

Re: Hondas and Suzuki motors. Thoughts?

I have asked the reason...of both gearbox manufacturers and oil cos. There was no single simple explanation...but one suggestion was that oil wore out. Not talking contamination, more the long and complex hydrocarbon molecules that determine the viscosity and other properties of the oil being 'shee...

Re: Garmin Satnav Problem

All used to tell me when the engine oil needed changing, as the gearbox will start to get slighty notchy in changes. The Old A/C Suzuki's behaved in a...

Re: Speed Camera/Gun Detector

All new cars will be fitted with speed limiters from 2022 under tough EU safety rules. The Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA) black boxes will use GPS to work out what the speed limit is and will then ensure the car doesn't break it. New models will need to have an ISA fitted as standard within thr...
