Re: tenere 660..opinions
Hi, never understood why there are so many negative opinions of the Tenere. I am on my second which has now covered almost 50K with no real problems. Great touring bike, decent off road and very reliable. You can pick one up for under 3K. Andy

van parking Harwich
Hi, I am sailing from Harwich on the 13th July and returning on the 31st July. As I live in Glasgow I am thinking of transporting the bike to Harwich in my van (Vivaro / transit size)but would like somewhere relatively safe to park it within 30-40 miles from Harwich. Can any members help. Cheers Andy

Hi, rode this trail summer 2012 on my Tenere, it's an easy trail with stunning scenery, there are a few small trails branching off that are fun. Andy

Re: is xt660z tenere still a good buy?

Current bike has 42k and previous one sold with 16k. Never had a serious problem. Rear wheel bearings and Cush drive rubbers need regular cha...

Re: Steering bearings
As stated the biggest problem is removing the lowering bearing, a tip is to remove the outer race then weld around the inner ring use a mig welder but being very careful not to weld anything other than the bearing. The heat locally generated will expand the bearing which can now be easily removed. A...
