Nice one Sykesy
Rape fields make a great backdrop to the bike
Nothing up to standard but here's mine
Not far away from your photos- this one just off the A19 to Doncaster

Think it was this photo that did it http://i897.photobucket.com/albums/ac177/optweb/2db78eec.jpg Wild camping, tons of twisties, not too bothered...

Don't let it put you off. You did everything correctly and acted fine.

Re: Routes to Norway
Hi I had a look at this a few weeks ago but as I can't afford 2 weeks off then I have shelved the idea until next year. There is a freight ferry which you might like to look at. The downside is that you could get bumped for a lorry on the day grrrrr http://freight.dfdsseaways.com/DFDS_ferries/North_...

Re: Men of the forum! - Do you wish you were like Bear Grylls?
I hadn't realised this dude had done so much before he became an 'actor' Having only watched a couple of episodes and finding them very over dramatised... Re: Medium trailie recommendations
BMW GS 650 Dakar wod be my thoughts.
Nice n straight forward bike with not too much power but enough to give a grin.
A comfy enough for a long trip , cover some green lanes , ride back in comfort and quite economical.
