Re: Overland event 26-29 August

Re: Long distance underwear

I use Decathlon running underwear - cheap - well made - wicks sweat away - can be washed easily and dries in an hour at room temps... just packing four pairs, plus one on, for two weeks away as they are so easy to launder on the go.

Re: A Bee flew into my lid... Not an urban myth anymore

Hit a wasp in an open face and got stung on the cheekbone and also had a bee get blasted under the internal dark visor in an Xlite and sting me on the forehead just above my eye...but the worse was playing on a small dirt bike when I was younger at a rally in an open face and hitting a bumble bee gi...

Stop your GoPro Hero 4 Black or Silver videos sounding like a helicopter

Guys apparently if like me you have only noticed that when it's quiet and you use wireless RC or the phone app you can hear a background noise like a helicopter... If your GoPro is in warranty you can go through the rigmarole of getting a replacement , which they will eventually do, or if like me yo...

Re: Register an Imported Bike

I thought i would update this as my bike is now legal in the UK. MSVA test was nothing major, i had concerns but the process was a pleasure. Next day i went for an MOT again passed on the frame number. Bike insured for 30 days on the frame number with Carole Nash. I posted the paperwork to the DVLA...

Re: Overland event 26-29 August

Actually this isn't so much an event around "getting your moneys worth" so much as knowing that this is primarily a fund raiser for a very very worthwhile charity Motorcycle Outreach founded by a very good friend of the organisers and many contributors, the late, and greatly missed, Simon ...

Re: Overland event 26-29 August

Is it worth going if you can only stay a few hours? Or you really have to stay the whole even to get your moneys worth? Not sure what there is to see if I'm just passing through. It's not a day ticket event as there are talks, seminars and tutorials on various skills going on all weekend hence the ...
