I get the occasional squeeze from irate (jealous) car drivers. With earplugs, helmet and engine noise I can't hear them shouting at me so I just laugh and either ride round the other side or scuff their car. The best thing to wear a chain out is grit and dust. A Scottoiler will tend to wash the grit away before it gets into the chain. Cleaning a chain, especially with solvents, will dilute the grit and let it get right into the chain where it can do some damage (personally I never clean a chain but I kn...

I'm not surprised BHS are not anti trail riding. Horses hooves churn up the ground at least as bad as bike wheels. You can bet once the ramblers have seen off the motorised groups, the horses will be next

I'm astonished that they (he) could get away with that. I followed Richards link to FoTPD and got as far as the first paragraph. They admit themselves that a response of 2500 only got support from 53% :ohmy: :angry: Thats nowhere near a mandate in anyones terms and could not be backed up in the face...

Signed. I don't get why its being blocked. If you look, Leys lane is just a back road so what amenity is being preserved by stopping traffic. As far as rambling goes, when I go out to the Peak District it certainly isn't to a country lane with nothing to attract me there (like views or local attract...
