They might find the engine is a disappointment as well because I had a 390 Duke as a loan bike while mine was being serviced and next time I'd sit outside drinking coffee rather than waste my time with one of those again. My son had one, it was bloody quick....he's only 10 stone though. I'm closer ...

I suspect that a large part of the reason we see interesting reports written about rides on small capacity or older bikes is that so many people are doing similar rides on big capacity modern bikes that nobody cares? If I take my KTM and do a 5,000 mile trip around Eastern Europe sleeping under hedg...

If I was looking for a bike around that capacity or slightly bigger I'd be booking a ride on a new 1090 KTM.

I've got by for years on the principle that it's much easier to seek forgiveness than permission.

She'll come to terms with it eventually whereas asking in advance might never get a positive response.
