Whatever the weather, I ride into work. As my mate once said, leaving a bike in the garage doing nothing for months is a bit like not having sex with your girlfriend so she is in better condition for the next guy.

Re: French customs

There are more changes coming in regarding vans transporting goods to Europe. My understanding is that if the bike owners are all present in the van which contains the bikes, its not a problem provided the van owner doesn't accept any money for any part of the journey.

Re: price of petrol

It costs around £40 to fill my GSA from reserve, and that gives me a range of 370 miles.

Re: Resole Sidi Adventure boots

Apparently, they have so much work, they can't do my boots until January.

Resole Sidi Adventure boots

My Sidi adventure boots need new soles, who do you use? GB Bike Leathers want £98 plus postage to resole them. They can't be done by a regular cobbler unfortunately, they need a large boot press to bond the sole to the upper.

Re: Bluetooth headsets- again.

I've got a pair of Cardo Scala G4 units which are 10 or 11 years old now, and they still work perfectly. I have recently upgraded to a Packtalk Bold intercom, purely because the G4 wouldn't connect to the TFT on my GSA. Battery life is certainly better on the G4 units.

[SOLD] Garmin Montana 610 + AMPS powered mount

Due to a change of bike how/where I ride, I have decided to sell my Garmin Montana 610 and AMPS powered mount. I bought the Garmin from Broken Jones earlier this year and is boxed with all the original accessories, is in excellent condition, and comes with a packet of screen protectors. The AMPS mou...

Lovely bike, but aren't French registered bikes (pre-2016) limited to 100ps (98hp)?
