Re: Ferry to Spain - an alternative option for those in the North
Its actually a quicker crossing than the slow ferries operating out of Portsmouth, and half the price, so its a no-brainer for us in the north.

Ferry to Spain - an alternative option for those in the North
Brittany Ferries have a new route from Rosslare to Bilbao, and I just priced up a return crossing at just €264 (yes, Euros) with reclining chairs both ways. A ferry from Liverpool or Holyhead to Dublin is between €50 and €90 each way. This means if you are prepared to cross to Dublin, ride down to R...

You won't need a carnet if the owner is in the vehicle towing or carrying the bike.

Re: RST Velcro Braces (Paragon)
Unfortunately not, the Klim ones velcro around fabric loops. The RST ones slot into a velcro pocket.rockdodger wrote: ↑Mon Sep 26, 2022 11:49 am Would the Klim on fit the bill that Adventure Bike Shop sell.

RST Velcro Braces (Paragon)
I'm looking for some 3 point velcro braces to fit some RST Paragon trousers. You can't buy them seperately, so i'm hoping someone has some trousers they are thinking of throwing away and would be kind enough to sell me the braces.

BMW GS Driveshaft Recall
Whilst my 2019 R1250GSA was in for service yesterday, they performed the necessary check on the driveshaft as part of the recall campaign. The driveshaft failed the test and was replaced FOC. My GS has done 25k. They told me 1 in 3 fail the test at the moment, and any bike with more than 31k on the ...

Re: Don't bother going to Wales again
Remember when the French reduced their SC speed limit from 90kph to 80kph in a bid to reduce accidents and it had zero effect on the statistics, so they allowed the limit to be increased to 90 if the department wanted to, which also had zero affect on accident statistics. They have adhered to a 30kp...

Re: What Happened to the bike Nod ??
I always nod, and to anyone on two wheels. If i'm working, I get nods back from all the deliveroo and Getir riders who did their CBT with me, and the local two-wheeled police always nod or wave if i've got my instructor vest on, but only about half of the bikers in Yorkshire nod back. When we were i...

Re: Clutch Rumble
I had an AT in the workshop last year with similar symptoms and it was a rear wheel bearing. There are numerous possibilities that it could be. Once you've checked the obvious, put it on the main stand, running and in 1st gear and try to identify where the noise is coming from.
