Re: EU. In or out?

Here's what Donald Tusk actually said: “I’ve been wondering what that special place in hell looks like, for those who promoted Brexit without even a sketch of a plan how to carry it out safely.” As you might expect, brexiteers are already misquoting him and twisting the statement to make him look li...

Re: EU. In or out?

The issue for some of us on here is that the UK is such a small market that if the EU imposes some kind of rule on motorcycles it is likely that most of those imported would have to meet those regulations. The same would be true for many other products. We are just going to have to get used to the ...

Re: EU. In or out?

Single-seat road-legal enduro bikes were made exempt from the ABS rules...and quite a few others as well. No doubt the views I made known were taken into consideration...along with those of others. With the UK outside the EU...my views would not even have registered. But you can bet the legislation...

Re: Route Advice please - Calais to Carcassonne (ish)

Aint the n21 a bic route ie full of trucks lol.... Well I haven't used it since 2013, so maybe it's been upgraded, but I remember it as a pretty decent road, especially through Gascony. If Scott had more time, I'd suggest leaving Perigueux on the D710, then the D47 (which we call the 'race track ro...

Re: Route Advice please - Calais to Carcassonne (ish)

OK, DAY TWO Let's try to get you from MOTOBREAKS in Haute Vienne down to about Pau in a day of riding without any motorways: From Bussiere Poitevine take the D4 to Saint Barbant (pretty much past my house!) and then on to Mezieres-sur-Issoire. Continue on D4 to Nouic and then Mortemart. Get on the D...
