Re: Replacement brake discs. KLV 1000
Nope mine came in a poly bag, I've spoken to the owner a few times and he's a friend of a friend. The KTM 950 ones are certainly made in-house.

Re: Akito desert suit or RST?
By contrast I've got a HG Tuareg suit and it's been heavily roaded and off-roaded and in all weather from snow in Shetland to the sun in Morocco and been sliding down the trail a few time too. For £350 best clothing I've ever owned.

The misus has the akito suit and yes it's cheap was ok at first but 2 years in with not that many miles it's not so good.

They are made in the uk. Some for the 950 arrived today. I need another set and will have to order them 3 weeks ahead so they can make them.

Re: HD inner tubes
Because they're thicker the constant flexing builds up more heat than thinner tubes especially if you are running lower pressures on the road as well. They do provide better rock impact protection when travelling at speed with reduced pressures.

Love em. Dunno about the 200 hours service though, mine have been on for 22k and a fair chuck of that has been off road. I haven't touched them yet.
