Re: The next step....
If your going for a hardtail and don't have a dropper post, one of these spring loaded seat posts is well worth the investment https://www.amazon.co.uk/SR-SUNTOUR-SP12-NCX-Suspension-400MM/dp/B07DL7MXZJ/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=sp12ncx&qid=1574158544&s=sports&sr=1-2 It's a bit od...

Re: Africa Twin for road riding only - opinions?
All my mates that came from sports bikes (age related change of style :D ) went for either a Ducati or KTM with a 19” front wheel - they only ride on the road. They are all very happy with their choices. I completely agree. Personally (ay say personally ) the 21" front wheel is horrible on the...

Re: The next step....
I've got the ktm emtb, .. happy with it ..17.5" wheels with Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres .. bosch motor. .. great fun Wow they're tiny wheels. I'm guessing you mean 27.5" (as opposed to 29" which is the other common size) :D The Specialized Levo is a decent bike. I've been told by an exp...

Re: Visor product recommendations
I use both Bob Heath stuff and RainX. The Bob Heath stuff works for a day or so then I find it tends to look like the visor is melting. I've also used the washing up liquid method which is ok but a faff to prepare. I've found the best solution is to use a plastic cleaner/antistatic spray and give it...

Re: EBC clutches - AVOID
So I agree and have changed the header as ive slowly calmed down and have to say the customer service from EBC has been exceptional, but not from the supplier who i purchased the clutch from.... Interesting. How did you contact EBC directly? I've had some "V" brake disks that were warped ...

Re: A photo you took, today
Took the eMTB out to the Peak District on Saturday. Turned off the Jacobs Ladder path and headed up to the Trig point on the Penine Path at Kinder Scout. Kinder ride looking back.jpg Kinder Trig point.jpg There's no way you can ride it, too many rocks, and you probably shouldn't anyway. So had to pu...

Re: SURVEY
Would it be cynical to wonder if all they're doing with surveys like this is collecting the data to prove people interested in anything motorcycle related are a comparativly small a group, so don't justify any investment! I was thinking exactly the same thing. I think the vast majority of people fi...

Re: Wow. I had no idea...
According to Google ... "excusez-moi mon vieux, je voudrais doubler car je suis un peu incontrôlable"
But I'm sure "Alle, alle, alle," would do it
Or even "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"
So if that's all that's stopping you, off you go....
