Re: Laphroiag

Like beer, I like to try the local brew, so was pleased to find that "The Edinburgh Malt" is a very pleasant experience. 12 year old Glen Kinchie, produced in Pencaitland, between Edinburgh and Haddington. 2 of my next favourite drams are Malts, but not Single Malts ... ... Monkey Shoulder...

Looking for a large porch for panniers, etc
I got a Bandicoot a couple of months ago, and with a Vango Adventure Tarp over the porch, find it excellent.

Designed for Backpacking, it packs small and light.

Phone call at noon today, from PC Sparrow at Drylaw Station. Bike has been found.

Now recovered to Gyle Compound & insurance dealing with it.

Looks promising. (thumbs)

Re: STOLEN. Black BMW F650GS from Edinburgh

Have you posted it on the 'Scotland's Biker's Against Crime' Facebook page? Its a closed group so you'll have to click joinm then wait to be approved. It was a page started because of the high number of bike thefts on Edinburgh. Bikes that have been found dumped are posted on the page too. Hope it'...

You're right Bob. I bought it new in 2004 when I worked at SLM in Caterham.

Fortunately, the Metal Mule panniers were not aboard!
