Ok,, I took the option to extend the warranty on my 1200gsa, mainly because I was going on a fairly long trip and wanted that extra piece of mind. Within a month rear ESA shock blew, replaced under ext warranty-saving £1500 This year one of the timing chains snapped which is a rare failure--I'm told...

The Powerlet jacket has a transponder in the wiring which receives the signal from the wireless controller, so unless that controller on the auction site has the same then I cannot see it working with any other jacket. The controller itself is powered by a single cell CR 2032 battery and not chargea...
