Re: The Royal Enfield Himalayan ,great value.

Jack I think you have hit the nail on the head re the riding and looking ahead to plan overtakes and manovres due to the himalayans limitations. Having come back to bikes after over 12 years I think maybe a tracer 900 or something similar with all the bells and whistles would make me a less aware ri...

Re: Helmet advice

I don't think there's a right or wrong answer but do try the helmet on first. Many people are on a tight budget so I get why you would buy online. I'm lucky there is a local independent shop who sells accessories cheap normally at Internet prices. They are close to the feridax warehouse and get a lo...

Re: The Royal Enfield Himalayan ,great value.

I have nearly 4k on my himalayan now and I'm more than happy with it. I think once worn in the engine runs smooth, I use it for commuting and trips out on larger a roads and small country lanes. I have taken the bike on 200 miles plus trips fully loaded up with wife panniers and dry bag. If will hap...

Re: F*%ing stupid Filterers! Giving the rest of us a bad name.

Yes there seem to be quite a few a-holes doing silly filtering. As u was always told you don't want to be the meat in the sandwich of moving vehicles! I only filter stationary vehicles of those crawling on dual tracks etc, it's not worth it. I think there is just some idiot drivers and bikers unfort...

Re: The Royal Enfield Himalayan ,great value.

The great fuel economy is great I can't knock it and nearly 2000miles on still chuffed with my purchase. Rides great with my wife on the back and seat is great on longer trips!

Re: Hi fellow RE Himalayan owners, and all adventure riders!

My himalayan is up to nearly 2000 miles now, yes first service and subsequent £129. I'll be making the best of the warranty and getting it serviced by the dealer until the warranty runs out. I think like said before I'll be dropping to a 6k service when it's out of warranty and do this myself. So fa...

Re: Motorcycle parking in London?

I had to ride down to London on Thursday and parked in a side street off Notting hill gate and paid £1 for 24 hours. I was able to stick my disc lock on and chain. There were plenty of high value bikes there including a new triumph I felt confident to leave it there. The Company who run it are calle...

Re: The Royal Enfield Himalayan ,great value.

I've put nearly 800miles on mine, great on long rides a trip from west Midlands to Minehead and back on the a roads with pillion and panniers fully loaded was a great test. Impressed so far ideal for unhurried weekend trips out and commuting. Dealer has indicated the valves should settle in quick en...
