I use my BMW panniers with the Touratech aluminium plate to connect both ... perfect, hardly any extra weight and no worries with cooking or spilling the beer !

Hi Lonepilgrim, could do, but as I'll be in Taunton having the bike done I could hang around outside the Co-op in Williton where the A39 and A358 meet afterwards, as good as anywhere to stop for lunch! It's only a phase ... give him time, he will grow out of it ... My best mate got himself a Harley as he had a couple of spills and thought a Harley would reduce the risk of being tempted to speed ... lasted 8 month and he is back on a Kwak ...

I would say the best route is ferry, 2 nights in Spain (Salamanca & Ronda ?), ferry from Algeceras to Tangiers as insurance is only available to buy in Tangiers, not in Ceuta... Best times are March/April/May and September/October due to the heat. I've done Morocco on tarmac, fantastic experianc...
