Re: changes to the bike test from jan19th
HI,
that's interesting as i read on other sites that the test has to be done on a bike bigger than 600cc with more that 53bhp but less than 96bhp.
I've rung two schools and they don't really know.

Re: Why I Dont Ride in Winter !!
I once saw a great cartoon years ago in MCN. Picture this.... It's pouring down with rain and freezing cold. A couple have stopped by some public loos and the chap says to his wife "I'm just going for a pee". To which she replies "hang on you forgot this"...and holds up a magnify...

Re: Discriminating Against Bikers?
I agree with what you say. In the 90's we managed to get the 100bhp limit thrown out from the eurocrats by asking one simple question. 'So when are you going to limit cars'. They won't touch cars so they had to leave bikes alone. It's all about being seen to stop road deaths. But it won't really wor...

Heated suits
Morning all. I read the article about heated suits in the latest copy of the mag and like the look of the powerlet jacket but they don't make trousers to match. I will soon be riding all year around in all weathers and up to 120 miles a day so i want a full heated suit. I welcome your thoughts. Mike

Re: So your motorcycle jacket breathes? Oh yeah.
I'm a sailing instructor and have worn many waterproofs over the years. I would not wear anything other than breathable gear. A few years ago the sailing kit was just waterproof and not matter how wet or cold outside i would end up soaked to the skin underneath the waterproofs from sweat and condens...
