Re: Husqvarna 701
I had a F800GS as well, never again. Get an exhaust can from Wings and ask for the turned down baffles. Use a giant loop coyote, saves using panniers. If you get a Rade fuel tank get a PCV and lose the SAS using a rottweiler kit. http://www.twalcom.com/home.php

Re: Husqvarna 701
I had two of them, the first was a 16, then I had the first 17 one in the uk :D the 17 plate bike is a real weapon, super smooth and power everywhere. I toured france with litre sports bikes last year and on twisty roads the 701 was awesome, I had a twalcom rally screen on and it would cruise at 90 ...

Yep, sena works really well, its what Garmin uses to test their units, had Scala but not as clear and good in my eyes, or ears.

Garmin Virb elite
I have a Garmin virb elite action cam with some accessories forsale, it is a great piece of kit in excellent condition. I have a lot of joints for it with a GoPro adaptor so you can use GoPro mounts. It has built in gps and accelerometers, so it records your speed and altitude, it also tags where yo...

Re: Heated Vests
Go for a jacket every time, I had a Keis, they are warm and look like a normal softshell fleece so you can wear it off the bike, they are a bit on the bulky side though, I now have a powerlet rapid fire which is so light its unbelievable, had it for nearly four years and its been awesome, no longer ...

Re: Helmets: what to buy?
Good choice mate, I need to go up a size in a Shoei, but again a great lid. Yes the Klim is so light its unreal, its not perfect but it does have a lot of features I like, the light weight being the biggest, then little things like the extra long strap to save undoing it every time. The things I don...

Re: Helmets: what to buy?
Hello mate, Ive been an Arai user for as long as I can remember, my Tour X was coming up to seven years old and I was thinking just get another tourX then I picked up a Klim Krios at Sportsbike shop and the weight of it or lack of it amazed me, I never thought I would find anything as comfy as the A...

Re: new kriega kit
Ive had a R15 rucksack for years and love it, its been brilliant, but for bike luggage I'd rather have Giant Loop, much better made and stronger. There are a few reviews of people using Kriega stuff on ADV with straps breaking under extreme conditions, I know they are guaranteed but that is no use i...
