March Moto Madness

Danny (Haggs Bank) and I are going to run a two centre event 31st march to 2nd April next year, the Welsh one will hopefully be in the Bunkhouse we had last year - or it'll be camping at the Ancient Briton...Danny will run one at Haggs bank of course...suggestions and requests most welcome - get 'em...

RE Luggage - I did get Touratech and Metal Mule to look at the Prototype at Cologne 2 years ago, there's hope, but I'd need to look at it again now its a production model and get on to Metal Mule for Dave to look at and measure, or maybe Gabe at Zen, he can work miracles...

Possibly but as the swm 650r has had numerous rave reviews (Brake, ABTV, MCN, Rust et al) for its off road capacity, it'd struggle..as a long distance Rally bike maybe, on Hellas, Athens Gibraltar etc...

Nope..its the SWM/Husky lump, possibly their own Fuel Injection/CDi

so the RRp has apparently been tentatively set at £10,500 - any takers? lol...I think AJP have dropped the ball on this one...the same engine in a SWM from £5700 (650r) or £7500 for a full touring kitted Superdual...

If anyone missed it...Brake Magazine recently tested the 650r, the bike the new Super Dual is based on, should give you a heads up on the possibilities...

They must know something the importers don't then..Italy is all geared up for Cologne just now...bikes are "promised" for end of Nov, but any Euro 3 ones will have to be in and landed by the 30/11 to get derogated....best plan to go up to the NEC and find out for sure...
