Altrider Hemisphere Bag For Sale

Shameless plug for a mate that is selling his Altrider Hemisphere bag. It's a good alternative to the Giant Loop Coyote that I've got - roll top unlike the early Coyote with a zip, external pockets for fluids etc and easy to take out the bag leaving the "holster" part on the bike: https://...

That's an alternative worth looking at - i'll have a look and see if it works with aluminium

Re: Removing oil residue from aluminium tank

Is there a specific reason to do this instead of all the other easy ways to carry some water?, could you just use the space for tool storage perhaps? Unfortunately the space is designed just for fluids and it saves having to carry extra bottles etc. and it keeps the weight nice and low. KTM bashpat...

I have swilled it out with thinners and then washed it out with Fairy but there is still a pretty awful taste if you fill it with tap water. I was going to give something like Milton Fluid a try but not sure if I'm wasting time, effort and money. :?

Re: Helmet

I've got a Shark Evoline helmet that can be used as a open or full face. I've had a couple of them now and I think they are a fantastic road helmet. I've also got a Shoei Hornet ADV for any trips that include trail riding that i also rate highly.
