Re: Garmin Zumo 590LM - battery problems

Had my 590 since September last year, not had a problem. I don't use it much but there has always been some charge in the battery when I have turned it on after several weeks.

Re: Goa to Grimsby.....

I too would love to see a TV programme / DVD covering Guy riding his bike back home whatever the budget / back up arrangements and Royal Enfield would be mad not to help out / cash in on it. There are some good write up's from others that have done similar trips. I got to meet Gordon May at the week...

Re: Went to view this today

Spotted this very nice 1967 B44SS on a club stand at the Bristol Classic bike show yesterday B) 2015-02-0711.13.00.jpg Looking at the bike in the first post again and seeing it advertised as a Victor Special with matching numbers B44B3560...... B44B3560 would be correct for either a 1968 Victor Spec...

To the best of my knowledge the B44VS didn't have a centre stand or even the frame lugs to fit one so it may be this one has had a DIY modification. What year is it? The front hub is also late B44SS (or Meridian parts bin), ba...

Re: Our Guy in India.

Great TV and an awesome country. I went on an organised Enfield tour of Southern India with Blazing Trails some years ago had an amazing experience. Wasn't so keen on Goa, too commercial, but the more rural areas were beautiful. The people are so friendly and the bikes are a hoot! B)

Looks like an interesting site, thanks for posting B) I certainly agree with their review on the Rukka Cosmic suit, excellent bit of kit and well worth the money even if you have to pay for it! http://earth-roamers.blogspot.co.uk/2014/07/rukka-cosmic-suits.html With respect - no motorcycle jacket a...
