Re: Thoughts on the 660cc MT-03
I had one for a few months, great round the Twisty A and B roads, handles well, the seating position is a little 'different'. Terrible for low speed filtering though, huuuuge amount of engine breaking, rear brake pads should last years No wind protection. A fun Bike for the back roads, but not one f...

Re: CCM GP 450......was it any good?
I bet the 6 gear box makes a huge difference, but where does the 25% extra power claim come from? The SR has the power pack as standard (PC & quill exhaust) so uncorked from 40 - 52 bhp. That's plenty enough power for me & I had no trouble keeping up with a couple of GS1200's round the Peak...

Re: CCM GP 450......was it any good?
if its got a tiny 1/2 and you get to 80 in fourth the gaps between 2-3-4 must be frigging huge, too big for what is a not an exactly tractable engine

Re: CCM GP 450......was it any good?
If the engine is pretty much the same as the G450X, I would rate it adequate, it really needs 6 gears and a better fuel map.

Re: WANTED - Ktm 690 enduro
I Don't thing anyone seriously classes it as an Enduro bike Mike, it's just a marketing thing for KTM Innit? I certainly don't think anyone buys it to ride Enduros on, that would be a bit daft. (unless your some sort of masochist) I'm 5'11" with a longish torso, shortish legs,, I'm gonna have t...
